Elbow Pain That Won't Go Away Is Costing You

Ignoring elbow pain or settling for generic rehab doesn't just delay recovery—it puts your entire athletic season, your training, and your long-term function at risk.

You Keep Pushing Through the Pain

Training through tennis elbow or golfer's elbow without addressing the root cause leads to chronic tendinopathy, compensation injuries, and a much longer road back to full performance.

Generic PT Isn't Built for Athletes

Most clinics put you in a group, hand you a resistance band, and call it rehab. If you're a runner, CrossFitter, golfer, or swimmer, you need a recovery plan built around how you actually move and compete.

Every Week Without Answers Is a Week Lost

Without a clear diagnosis, a realistic timeline, and a targeted treatment plan, you're guessing. You risk missing your race, your season, or your next PR—while the injury quietly gets worse.

Getting Back to Your Sport Is a 3-Step Process

Step 1: Get a Real Diagnosis

Your initial evaluation goes deep. We identify the true root cause of your elbow pain or injury—not just the symptom—and walk you through exactly what's happening and why. You leave with a clear picture and a written recap of your findings.

Step 2: Follow Your Personalized Plan

We build a hands-on manual therapy treatment plan tailored to your sport, your schedule, and your goals. Every session is 1:1, and every tool we have—from shockwave and dry needling to Graston and laser—is used when it's right for you.

Step 3: Return to Sport Stronger

Recovery isn't just about getting out of pain. We guide you through a structured return-to-sport progression so you come back performing at your best—and with the tools to keep the injury from coming back.

"To say that I recommend ASR is an understatement. Johnny and his team have helped me in so many ways! I am a person who lives with MS, a chronic neurodegenerative disease that makes walking, balance, and even standing extremely difficult. After working with Johnny, I am beyond thrilled to say I can walk over a mile, something that I wasn't able to do 2 years ago!"

Common Questions

Atlanta Sports Recovery operates on a self-pay model, which means we're not in-network with insurance providers. This allows us to dedicate full one-on-one sessions to you—no double-booking, no aide handoffs, no rushing. We provide a detailed superbill after each visit that you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA payments. Initial evaluations are $165; follow-up sessions are $90.

Your initial evaluation is a full deep-dive into your injury. Your therapist will assess your movement, identify the root cause of your elbow pain (whether it's tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, a wrist or shoulder issue contributing upstream, or something else), and walk you through exactly what they find. You'll leave with a written recap of your evaluation, a realistic healing timeline, and a clear treatment plan—including take-home exercises. No guessing, no vague advice.

Most clinics see multiple patients per hour, rely heavily on exercise machines, and offer limited hands-on time. Every session at Atlanta Sports Recovery is 1:1 with a sports-specialized therapist who is also an athlete. We include advanced modalities—shockwave therapy, Class IV medical laser, dry needling, Active Release Technique, Graston, cupping, and joint manipulation—at no additional cost per session. The goal isn't just pain relief. It's getting you back to your sport, stronger and smarter about how to stay there.
