Still Hurting After Trying Everything?

Most people dealing with chronic pain, muscle tightness, or nagging injuries have already tried rest, stretching, and generic PT — and they're still stuck. Sound familiar?

Chasing Symptoms, Not Solutions

You've been treated for the pain, but nobody has looked at why it keeps coming back. Generic protocols keep you spinning your wheels without real progress.

Watered-Down PT That Doesn't Fit Your Life

Insurance-driven clinics juggle 6–10 patients at a time. You deserve focused, one-on-one attention — not a rotation of resistance bands and a rushed check-in.

Staying Sidelined Costs You More

Every week off the field, out of the gym, or away from your running shoes isn't just frustrating — it's eroding the fitness and momentum you've worked hard to build.

Why Decatur Athletes Choose Atlanta Sports Recovery

"Dr. Dave's protocols saved my shoulder — after more than 3 months of injury that had left it largely immobile. After just 3 sessions, I managed to swim all 6 of my events at my All-Stars meet. I even managed a Personal Best time in my freestyle. This rapid healing and success is 100% credited to Dr. Dave's expert support and guidance!"

"To say that I recommend ASR is an understatement. Johnny and his team have helped me in so many ways! I am a person who lives with MS, a chronic neurodegenerative disease that makes walking, balance, and even standing extremely difficult. After working with Johnny, I am beyond thrilled to say I can walk over a mile, something that I wasn't able to do 2 years ago!"

Dry Needling FAQs

Dry needling at ASR is performed exclusively by certified Physical Therapists — Dr. Jibin Titus (DPT, OCS) and Dr. Dave Lauzurique (DPT, CSCS) and Aleigh Moore (ATC, Master Dry Needling). You'll never receive dry needling from an uncredentialed provider, and informed consent is part of every session.

No referral needed. Atlanta Sports Recovery is a self-pay practice, so you can book directly — no insurance authorization, no waiting room delays. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and we can provide a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement.

At a typical insurance-driven PT clinic, therapists may be managing 6–10 patients per hour. At ASR, every session is 1-on-1 with a licensed clinician — 30 to 60 minutes of focused, personalized care built around your goals, not a billing code.

Dry needling is used at ASR to address trigger points, muscle guarding, and pain patterns associated with low back pain, sciatica, shoulder impingement, runner's knee, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, IT band syndrome, and more. It's integrated into your full treatment plan — not used in isolation.

Your first session is a comprehensive evaluation — we assess your movement patterns, strength, mobility, and motor control to identify the root cause of your issue. From there, we build a personalized plan that may include dry needling, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and performance testing depending on your goals.

Start with a free 15-minute discovery phone consultation. We'll talk through what you're dealing with, answer your questions, and tell you exactly how we can help before you commit to anything.
